This work has changed my life, I believe firmly this is information that belongs to us all. From woman to woman we can carry the wisdom of healing to offer to our families, sisters and communities.
This work is for anyone who is interested in deepening their knowledge of lymphatic breast care and breast cancer prevention. You do not need to be a practicing or licensed professional to attend. This training is great for those who work in the women's health field as a practitioner, nurse, lactation consultant, doula, midwife or anyone who supports women.
After serving thousands of women, It is apparent that we as a culture and are lacking basic self care tools and knowledge to support properly caring for our breasts. We live in a society that sexualizes and objectifies our breasts, it is no surprise that woman after woman I work with has never even developed a relationship with her breasts. Within the medicalized industrial corporate structures that we have entrusted our lives too, countless women suffer un-necessary surgeries, biopsies, radiation and scare tactic care.
With proper education and training you can be the very shift a woman needs on her path to rebalance common breast imbalances as well as empower herself and her community in preventative care.

Over our three days together we will look through the lens of the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and will uncover the truth around our lymph system, immunity and its impact on our breast health.
Ayurveda means the “Science of Life “ in this intimate workshop we will create a safe container to explore our tissue understanding our own unique balances and imbalances. I focus on educating and empowering you around your lymphatic system and its crucial role in supporting our immunity and breast health.

a park like bucolic rural setting with lake swims, sister fire time and a walk in a crystal labyrinth.

AFTERNOON CLASS & DEMO
Known as Rasa or the "Rivers of Life" in Ayurveda
Learning how these lymph rivers flow through the body, what this system does and how it works. Hands on teaching of a manual technique for flow of massage that supports optimal clearing & opening of the lymph channels.

MORNING LECTURE - The Elementals of Ayurveda & The Integrity Of Touch
Vata (V), Pitta (P), Kapha (K) - learn their qualities and how they manifest in the body. Discover how to identify these qualities in the tissue and the various ways they may present in the in balance and out of balance, along with hands-on herbal remedy and bodywork techniques to address different elemental imbalances you may encounter.
The Integrity of Touch - Learn how we can maintain integrity when offering therapeutic touch to others. Approach the breasts with reverence and respect. Somatic orientation and grounding for the practitioner, so you can provide safe therapeutic touch. We will learn about cystic and fibrocystic breast tissue, and explore impacted lymph and dried or hardened lymph nodes.
AFTERNOON LECTURE & DEMO - Common Breast Imbalances & Massage Techniques
We will discuss and learn how to perform a breast assessment of the tissue and identify common breast imbalances. We will also explore remedy and massage techniques to support draining, softening, or shifting these imbalances.
Breast Cancer & Prevention - Learn what to look for and how to identify the different forms of breast cancer. We will have an in-depth discussion on alternative early diagnostic imaging, including thermography and ultrasound technology, and why we do not mammography. Emotional and practical tools will be discussed to support women in understanding their options if they find a lump, as well as pre- and post-treatment or surgery lymphatic care. Hands-on demo and opportunity to start learning about our own tissue.

Each student will complete a written questionairre and then prepare and give a hands on breast massage and holistic breast check. You will both give and receive a lymphatic breast massage and holistic breast check. You will provide feedback to your classmate.

NOURISHMENT
Happily serving a hearty breakfast and dinner as well as coffee and teas.
All meals will be prepared fresh using local organic ingredients. Menu will be a mix of local seasonal veggies, meats, fruit and raw cow or goat dairy as well as traditional Ayurvedic dishes.

We are preparing breakfast and diner, we will not serve lunch please bring snacks for your lunch.

Spots are intentionally limited to 11 participants to preserve the depth, intimacy, and quality of the experience.
For this summer’s training, tuition has been intentionally reduced in consideration of increased travel expenses, rising fuel costs, and the overall investment many participants are making to attend.
A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to reserve your place. Registration is confirmed once deposit payment has been received.
Because space is extremely limited, all deposits are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another participant with written notice at least 14 days prior to the training.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non-refundable. If your spot can be filled from the waitlist, a partial credit toward a future training may be offered at my discretion.
